after 9 years of agony, not going to victory parades since junior high, being fuckin HUMILIATED by the red sox in '04, the yanks have done it AGAIN. i am soooo happy right now. i actually couldn't be any more pleased. the yankees WON and like the songs says, we run this town. 'concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there's nothing you CAN'T do, let's hear it for NEW YORK, NEW YORK, NEW YORKKKKK'

words cannot express what your music---your talents--your LIFE has meant to me. i am SOOO incredibly saddened by your passing. when i was young, singing my heart out to anyone who would listen and dreaming of being a star, you, whitney and mariah inspired me so much. i practiced your dance moves for hours, and songs like 'heal the world' were a staple not only at home but in my elementary school. we sung it every friday with choreographed movements at assembly dress.
you ARE truly one in a million.

i found out about michaels death in a classmates car on my way to class. my friend was saying WHAT!WHAT!WHAT!!! in the backseat. she said it so many damn times me and another friend were like "what's going on." she told us michael jackson just died. there was a stunned silence then a panicked frenzy. we got a MILLION text messages at once and turned on the radio to hear if it was true. when it was confirmed, i became so distraught because he was one of my idols growing up. i'm a singer, so for me there was whitney, mariah, and michael. i was OBSESSED with him. learning the moonwalk. trying to replicate impossible moves from smooth criminal.
it's been hours since this bomb dropped and i STILL can't wrap my mind around it. michael i honestly loved your work and because of it, i might've loved you.

So there's something I need to get off my chest:
